We believe that the original founder
of the breed, Capt. Max Von Stephanitz had the right idea way back in the
1890's. He believed a German Shepherd should be intelligent, trustworthy,
sound in body and mind, protective when necessary, and possesses a strong
desire to please. Because Arcturus German Shepherds agree with his
founding principles, we continue use the very best German bloodlines in
our breeding program. Our focus is on producing an attractive, all-around
companion dog. A dog that is able to excel in the obedience ring, out
in the pasture herding sheep, or just playing ball in the backyard. Our
aim is to produce a dog that can go anywhere, do anything, and still be
content to lie quietly at your feet. All breeding stock is OFA
